Swim
We're exploring pool sessions at local aquatic centers, followed by open-water practice when conditions and safety arrangements allow. Locations and participation requirements will be confirmed before sessions open.
Sonoma County, California · Forming 2026
A neighborly endurance club for Healdsburg and the greater wine country — beginners and veterans alike — building toward one shared finish line: Cal Tri La Crema, June 27, 2027.
The club
Wine Country Tri Club is forming as a member-benefit club for people who want company on the road, in the water, and on the trail. No qualifying times, no egos, no minimum mileage. If you can float, pedal, or shuffle — you belong here.
Our first season is deliberately simple and low-cost: show up, train alongside the running and cycling groups that already make this county great, and get to know each other over food and a glass of something local afterward.
We're gathering interest from future members and volunteers now. Formal membership, dues, and a structured calendar follow once our governance, waivers, insurance guidance, and banking are properly in place.
Why sign up?
Find your training crew, build confidence, and enjoy the place we call home. Start with the free interest list and help shape a club built around shared goals and good company.

Looking ahead · Planned membership benefits
Opportunities to connect with local swimmers, cyclists, and runners, plus social gatherings beyond the workout.
A planned spring 2027 swim, bike, run, and brick calendar building toward Cal Tri La Crema.
We're developing learning opportunities around equipment, transitions, fueling, and race preparation.
We're planning ways for members, volunteers, and supporters to cheer one another through the 2027 race.
Signing up is free and does not enroll you as a member. Benefits, schedules, dues, and participation requirements will be confirmed before paid membership opens.
Three sports, one club
We're exploring pool sessions at local aquatic centers, followed by open-water practice when conditions and safety arrangements allow. Locations and participation requirements will be confirmed before sessions open.
We're exploring wine-country routes and social pace groups, with distances and expectations shared in advance. Ride plans and safety arrangements will be confirmed before club-led rides begin.
Community runs to meet your neighbors, with club runs and bike-to-run brick sessions planned for spring. Walk breaks welcome; the back of the pack is still the pack.
Our goal race
A Russian River swim at Johnson's Beach, a ride toward La Crema Estate, and a vineyard finish. The organizer lists Sprint and Olympic triathlons, SwimBike, and standalone swim and run events. Check the official race site for each event's schedule and requirements.
Everything we do between now and then works backward from that day: swim technique in winter, base miles in spring, bricks and race-week logistics in June. Members who'd rather volunteer than race are just as welcome on course.

We introduce the club at the Thursday-night Healdsburg Running Company gathering — September 17, 6–8 PM. Sign the interest list, meet the founders, no dues collected.
Founders and early members train together at existing public runs and rides, host social and orientation gatherings, and finalize bylaws, waivers, safety policy, insurance guidance, and a club bank account.
Founding membership and modest dues go live once the paperwork and payment controls are ready — with clear refund rules and reconciliation from day one.
A published swim–bike–run–brick calendar, skills and nutrition clinics, open-water practice, and race-week support built backward from June 27.
Our goal: a supportive race-day crew, plenty of encouragement, and a chance to celebrate together. Club arrangements will be confirmed closer to race day.

Especially for you. Sprint distance is a very reachable first race, and the whole point of the founding season is learning the three sports alongside people doing the same thing.
Nothing. The interest list is free and the founding season is intentionally low-cost. Dues arrive only when membership formally opens, and we'll publish the amount and what it covers before asking anyone to pay.
No. A working bike, a helmet, goggles, and shoes get you started. We'll share what's worth buying — and what isn't — long before race season.
Not formally. We're grateful guests at public community runs and rides and at venues that host us. We don't speak for those organizations, and joining our list doesn't enroll you in anyone else's program or coverage.
Yes. Volunteers, ride leaders, photographers, and social organizers make a club work. Tell us on the form.
